Solutions consultant
As a full-time Solutions Consultant located in Belgium you will be responsible for handling end-to-end iGuana iDM software implementation, enhancement and customization projects, developing in-depth procedures and scripting to provide tailored solutions that meet client-specific requirements, and training customers. You will be working under the guidance of the Operations Manager and in close collaboration with the Senior Solution Designer.
To succeed in this role, you must be able to analyze customer business needs and easily translate them into technical concepts. A major part of your work will involve continuous communication with clients and developing good relationships with them throughout the duration of a given project. As a key contact for your customers, you will need to establish and maintain effective and transparent communication with the client, Sales Account Managers, Solution Consulting and Software Development teams at all project stages.
Your Responsibilities

Organize and lead customer needs assessment meetings to gather and understand client objectives

Work in close collaboration with the Senior Solution Designer to design solutions that best meet customer needs

Lead solution implementations from beginning to end, including testing, go-live and post-implementation support

Continuously communicate project progress and expectations to the client and the Operations Manager

Support customers throughout the go-live process; conduct client training sessions

Ensure that each project is completed on time, on budget and meets customer expectations

Perform solution upgrades, customizations and enhancements (including configuration and development)

Participate in software release projects; provide constructive feedback to the software development team

Create, maintain and contribute to internal, technical and customer documentation

Serve as a reliable back-up for your fellow software solutions consultants as and when required

Achieve your individual utilization targets set by senior management; participate in regular progress reviews
Your Qualifications (required)
-
Higher education degree (Bachelor), preferably in IT, ICT or Computer Science

Solid experience working as analyst (or in a similar role); basic SQL server skills

Strong requirements analysis and solution/process mapping skills

Analytical and technical aptitude, ability to solve complex business and technical issues

Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time using strong organizational and planning skills

High degree of self-motivation, excellent verbal, written and presentation skills

Active listener able to build relationships with customers, effectively balancing technical and social aspects

Team player with interpersonal skills required to easily integrate into any new or existing team

Strong desire to work in a fast-paced consulting environment; ability to handle high-pressure, high-stress situations

High degree of awareness of current software development trends; desire to self-improve and expand own skillset

Native or fluent Dutch and English language speaker (verbal and written)
